Margaritas for Everybody!

Happy Cinco de Mayo! I hope everyone is having a good one -- hey, any excuse for a party, right? I just have a couple clips today, and sadly, none of them involve tequila...

First up is an interview from last Thursday's American Morning: Christiane Amanpour talking about Iran's interference in Iraq:

This morning, John Roberts spoke with Lt. General Ricardo Sanchez (Ret.), who led the Coalition forces in the years after the invasion. He has just written a new book in which he looks back on many "missed opportunities":

We all know what the most important issue to voters is right now, and we all know what gas prices are looking like these days. On Saturday I posted the carpooling AM anchors, and today I have Greg Hunter's tips for fuel economy: what works and what does not:

Have you all seen the bee commercial? Haagen-Dazs is running this ad, with its dramatic display of pollenization interruptus, to get people involved in the disappearing-bee problem. (The bees, or lack of them, are also a running theme in this year's Doctor Who. Yes, I'm a geek.)

Finally, yesterday's Doonesbury. I'm fairly sure this is a repeat, but anyone who watches CNN will still appreciate it:

Here's hoping your Sexto de Mayo hangovers don't require any Head-On!

  1. Cool. I am really digging AM lately.
John Roberts rocks. Please CNN make
JR a part of your primary coverage or
at least find a way to bring him to
    prime time.

  2. I said it once, and I'll say it again, God bless T.J. Holmes, and his mama for making him. He is my favorite reporter on CNN, and as long as his gorgeous smile, and his dreamy eyes are on CNN, I'm there.
