Last week, the Presidential campaigns talked a lot about flip-flopping on issues. The ratings seemed to have taken their cue from this and did their own version of flip-flopping. FOX came out on top this week having the highest average Adult 25 - 54 demographic in all three prime time hours. The flip-flopping occurs if you take a look at the individual nights where you'll find that each of the networks had a day that they did well. During the 9PM hour, FOX had the highest demos on Monday & Tuesday night, but CNN took Wednesday and MSNBC won Thursday night. During the 10PM hour, CNN did well on Monday and Wednesday, but MSNBC had the highest demo on Tuesday and FOX took Thursday. (And yes, the numbers really do work out that FOX has the highest average for the week even though they only actually had the rightest demo on 1 of the 4 nights.) The table below lists which network took each of the timeslots on each day.

The averages for the month of June are very similar to the ones that I posted for the month of May. The actual numbers change, but the order of the networks hasn't. 8PM FOX and MSNBC did very well with FOX having the highest average for the month. 9PM also goes to FOX. CNN once again takes the 10PM timeslot.

  1. I having some difficulties posting on your sister
blog ATA so I will have my say here. I work in tv
news and I can tell you that Greta has no credibility
in the journalism world and neither does FNC.
David Doss said what has long been said about
Greta's program. My take on this is that FNC's own
internal data shows that before long AC will top
her is viewers as well. Greta can rant all she wants
nobody cares. Please consider the source. Believe
me Anderson has the respect of his peers.
Jon Klein and others have made similar comments
about FNC nothing is new here. There is no way
this will hurt Anderson. Why do you think CNN
    has not responded ?
