Don Lemon's Personal Story

Many, many of our readers and the bloggers on the ATC Team have great respect and admiration for CNN's Don Lemon. Part of that stems from his honesty, his ability to tell a story and his devotion to getting the story right. This weekend Lemon shared a bit of himself with viewers in an attempt to get the story of Bishop Eddie Long right. Here's the clip:

We were reminded of an interview that Anderson Cooper did in 2007 with then CNN reporter Thomas Roberts who spoke about the sexual abuse he endured as a child.

  1. That is not an easy subject to talk about but I appauld him for speaking out. The more people that are able to talk about it in public the more that other victims can realize they aren't alone. Bravo Don Lemon!

  2. The first time I watched a clip of Don Lemon on this blog, I was very impressed by his voice. hmm His voice tells sth that is honest and trustable. He is not on CNN International?! so I have no chance to watch more. Thank you for your post.

  3. Don Lemon is a class act. The man should
be on the weekday anchoring schedule.
How is it that someone this good is overlooked
at CNN. Right away Don Lemon could give CNN
the stature they are missing during the day and
he has his own unique style.I really don't see how
in the world he was overlooked n favor of Rick
Sanchez and Ali Velshi. CNN needs to fix the
    daytime programming as well.

  4. Don Lemon should be in prime time instead
of Eliot Spitzer and Piers Morgan. How does
a remarkable journalist of his caliber gets
overlooked. CNN is definitely poorly managed.
