  1. It seems AC will get a bump this week due
to breaking news. More than 700 comments
on the 360 blog tonight. 360 is likely to be
    # 1 with the Chilean mine rescue ending
    tonight.

  2. There are people who watch Fox News, people who watch MSNBC, people who watch CNN, and people who don't watch the news UNLESS there is a big breaking news story somewhere in the world. These people who never watch the news unless there is big breaking news happen to choose CNN to watch which makes the network #1 at the time. Same thing happened with CNN on election day, the inauguration, Christmas day bomb attempt, etc. I always hope that times like this boost CNN's ratings. I love this network and want to see it be #1 again.

  3. Parker Spitzer will be a drag on CNN. I don't
want to sound mean but I don't like either of
them. CNN makes blunder after blunder.
Last night they insulted Candy Crowley. She
was forced to be on with Parker Spitzer as
they badly tried to do breaking news.CNN
looked really bad. If MSNBC ratings were
not that good with Keith & Rachel doing
breaking news, what made CNN think viewers
would accept Parker Sptizer anchoring news.
I am sure it made people turn the channel
very quickly. That was an embarrassment.
Does anyone at CNN think anymore. Of
    course not it is CNN.

  4. CNN really needs an international news show
in prime time. Americans needs to know about
Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Canada and South
America. It is essential. RIght now the only way
to get news from around the globe you have to
go on line. For 18-49 year olds this is essential.
CNN should do this all 7 days of the week. I
really don't understand why CNN refuses to give
people in the US international news. The purpose
of news is to provide us with vital information.
Not different points of view. Pov is completely
useless.CNN really needs to make a commitment
to global news. The world is a small place in
    this DIgital Age.

  5. It would be great if CNN could find a way
to become # 1 again. They just have to
come up with better shows.360 once did
international news but it is a rarity these
days on CNN. International news could be
a potential ratings boost for CNN. The
Chilean mine rescue is an international
news story and you see the ratings CNN
got for that.It is true that younger people
are interested in the world. FNC & MSNBC
will not do this.It would be great to see
Zain or Isha Sesay.IMHO they should do
    a 2 hour international Newsroom.

  6. Maybe now CNN will understand it matters
who you put in the anchor chair during
breaking news. CNN got it;s butt kicked
by letting Parker Spitzer do breaking news
FNC had nearly 3x the viewers. CNN didn't
pull away from the debate soon enough
and they did not have a CNN anchor in
place. You can't let anybody do the news.
I am sure since FNC made sue Shep Smith
was on before 9 they had a huge advantage.
CNN needs to start thinking like a news
    organization.To make matters worse Larry
King had on Michael Moore.CNN blew it
big time last night with the last miner
coming out.FNC was better prepared than
CNN.It will be interesting to see how
    360 did later today.

  7. 360 might have had over 700 comments, but unfortunately, they are all from the same people.

  8. Barbara Walters should be ashamed of herself for not condemning the extremists on 9/11. She told Bill O'Reilly that he demeaned the "Muslim" community when he put forth his notion, that the mosque should not be built near ground zero.
Let me remind Ms Walters that it was the extremists Nazis party who killed 6 million innocent Jews...yes the entire political party Barbara, and as a Jew, you should know this and know when condemnation is justified.
Why do I bring this incident up?
This is one reason why Fox News has gathered not only the right, but many viewers on the left, because being that liberal is not patriotic.

  9. Boring 360 tonight. The panels are
back and so is my remote. Yawn.
    Not watching.

  10. What does The View have to do with CNN ?
    Increasingly American news organizations
are considered to be the worst in the world
simply because they are misinforming and
not informing or giving people news that
matters. CNN needs to do news. The promo
for Parker Spitzer yesterday says it all, They
are upset because some guy criticized them.
How is that news. It is not and that is why
CNN is in trouble.MSNBC completely ignored
breaking news on Wednesday. That means
news is not a priority for them. Increasingly
    CNN is doing the same.

  11. Majority of FNC viewers are 65 plus and they
are not diverse racially or politically. A recent
study shows this. The study also showed that
people don't trust the news. So the old media
will be gone within 3 years because they are
too self indulgent to care about anyone but
    themselves.

  12. @10:31AM: If you read the entire comment you would have read what Fox has to do with CNN. Obviously you did not read the entire comment that was made pertaining to what happened on the View.
FOX NEWS has become a giant in the industry because viewers are tired of liberal bias and demands. FOX fills a NEED...for those people who feel the Country has let them down.
Walters is a perfect example of a person who is too liberal and has forgotten where she came from.

  13. I would like to see 360 go to China, India,
Asia, Africa, Europe, etc. I miss AC going
all around the world. I know so many who
have done overseas internships and travel
the globe during the summer. I really don't
understand why international news is ignored.
Amazingly ABC News is doing something big
called 30 days in China.ABC just gutted it's
news division and they can commit to a huge
project like this. Somebody at CNN needs to
start thinking out of the box.
