  1. On Friday, David Gergen was wrong about
Alice Rivlin. She is on record saying she does
not agree with Paul Ryan on Medicare. She
talked with Ezra Klein and Bloomberg. The
problem for CNN is that objectivity is out the
window and that leads to wrong information.

  2. Why is CNN giving so much time to Donald
Trump ? Don't they realize when they keep
putting him on to spread lies that people
wonder why CNN is elevating him to the
level. No one ever asks him hard questions
about the 3 bankruptcies or the fact that
he is pretty much excused as a business
man these days. He is not even a billionaire
anymore and CNN let's him repeat that lie.

  3. Trump is a joke, but CNN loves the Tea Party and anyone who holds those views. They're against President Obama and are happy to bring in someone who is willing to bash him or bring up old questions that have been solved. This is irresponsible.

  4. I was so turned off by Trump on SOTU that I've decided to boycott his Celebrity Apprentice. If enough people complain to advertisers and don't watch maybe he'll get the message? Nothing speaks louder to The Donald than losing money.

On a totally different topic I watched the Reagan shooting special Saturday night and it was excellent. Good job Drew and the SIU.

  5. I was watching Celebrity Apprentice for a while because the cast is such a train wreck, but after Trump's disgusting birther nonsense I stopped. I don't want anything to do with Trump and his spawn.

  6. CNN had better focus on covering more stories
and interesting items outside of politics. it has
to do something about content. Every hour needs
new content and not the same stories over and
over again and the same clowns each day. Trump
was all over CNN up until Sunday. You would have
thought that CNN would give us more material
from CNN International but no it talk, talk and
talk. Television is a visual medium. It can't
    operate like a blog.

  7. CNN please hire George Stroumboulopoulos.
Have him bring The Hour to America. Before
George Tonight which is now just a half hour
show there was The Hour. A show like this in
prime time could bring in those Daily Show &
Colbert viewers since it would be on earlier
and they would not miss other stuff. It could
provide a huge lift to 360.It is clear that CNN
has to do something about prime time.

  8. What is going on with HLN in prime
time ? All of the shows are not even
registering. Has Nancy Grace run it's
    course ?

  9. Strombo could be a way for CNN to get
    demo viewers 18-29,18-34 & 18-49.
Imagine what that would do for CNN in
the demo. Advertisers love the 18-49
demo more than anything. If CNN wants
to attract more viewers, they have to try
new and different shows. News is very
much a part of Strombo's show and he
is very multi-faceted and can cover the
news. The Debrief is the best.

I am looking forward to seeing the ratings
from Friday. Wolf was on at 9 and it will
be interesting to see if 360 wins at 10 &
    11 PM.

  10. I too would like to say thank you for this
blog. You can learn a lot here and it is always
insightful. I hope the CNN management does
keep an eye on this blog. It is clear from the
postings that the people who come here are
really watching CNN and rather closely. I think
that we all would love for CNN to be successful.

  11. "The Donald" is laughable and shouldn't be taken all that seriously.
Someone should ask him not what he knows about business, but what he knows about poverty and the lower middle class, something he was never a part of. Those are the people who vote and they make up the majority. The media is too easy one him, too adoring.
