  1. CNN hire George Stroumboulopoulos
It is a perfect fit with 360.

  2. I have a tip for you guys. Who is the CNN anchor
who is in Kirk Franlin's I Smile music video ?

The Answer : TJ Holmes. He is one of several
people featured in the gospel singer's video
    for the song.

  3. If CNN goes up at 8, down at 9 and up at 10
that might mean that 360 viewers are tuning
out PMT.CNN's lineup lacks continuity. Maybe
they are waiting to see if Outfront can eventually
    replace PMT in the lineup.

  4. Anderson's ego would not allow for a George S hiring.
Unfortunately, a star that once shown brightly, has turned into a real publicity hound.

  5. When does Erin start at CNN ? Strombo has
not had any new shows on in a while. CNN
could use a Daily Show type news program
especially with live steaming. For all media
companies content will be crucial and CNN
needs shows that people will watch on tv
    as well as the web.

  6. Where is Isha. For the 2nd night , she is not on
    360. Maybe she is on vacation or something
but I hope this doesn't mean she is off 360.

  7. We have been watching the ratings so far this
week and here is what we are noticing so far
this week. 360 could have it's best numbers at
8 this week depending upon tonight and Friday.
Of course last night was really big for MSNBC
with the GOP debate. We will find out tonight
who benefits from the Obama jobs speech. We
will be watching to see if viewers are going with
MSNBC instead of CNN for Campaign 2012. CNN
is having a little trouble at 6 & 7, the ratings are
    going down for 2 hours.

TRMS could be showing signs of pulling away
from PMT. Will a new schedule on CNN from 4
to 7 PM make a difference during those couple
of hours for CNN. Viewers seem to ;have made
up their minds about Piers Morgan. CNN has a
problem. With the upcoming election coming
next year, viewers are likely to go with Hannity
    or Maddow than Piers Morgan.

We will run the numbers after getting the data
for tonight. The NFL kicks off tonight and the
brand new fall season kicks off next week.
Also, Monday Night Football is coming to ESPN.
Next week is when we really get some insight
to what might happen for the rest of 2011.

Stay tuned. Our guess is the new CNN lineup
begins on the day of Q4.

  8. WE THINK THAT MSNBC DID A BANG UP JOB WITH THEIR DEBATE SPECIAL GETTING OVER 5 MILLION!
WE THINK THIS HAS NEVER BEEN DONE BEFORE ESPECIALLY IN THE 8PM HOUR AND OVER 4 MILLION IN THE 9PM HOUR.
WE THINK YOU ARE CORRECT IN YOUR ASSUMPTION ABOUT PIERS MORGAN'S FUTURE PROSPECTS AT CNN.
BUT WE WILL HAVE TO "RUN THE NUMBERS" LATER THIS WEEK TO SEE IF WE ARE CORRECT.
HOW DOES THAT SOUND TO ALL OF YOU?

  9. It would be a smart move for CNN to connect 360
& Outfront. On Facebook, Anderson Cooper 360
is growing daily and they now have a link to Erin
Burnett. 360 & PMT are not compatible shows.360
viewers are likely to be more interested in Erin
Burnett. She is a journalist. As far as I'm concerned
she was the best guest on 360 last night.360 did
have too many talking heads.I am a viewer who
never really watched Erin Burnett because I can't
stand CNBC. I must say I was impressed, might
actually check out Outfront but it had better be
truth in advertising. When does her show come
on CNN. Will it be announced on Facebook &
Twitter. Anon 1:22, you do know that all caps
is considered to be offensive. I think they mean
360 ratings for the week. I decided a long time
ago not to watch PMT and refuse to DVR 360
at 8 because he pops up on the show.

  10. We ran the numbers for Mon-Fri of this week.

    360 is averaging 930,000/291,000 at 8 PM.
Safe bet that this is the best ratings so far for
    360 since getting the timeslot.

    MSNBC is averaging 1,851,000/452,000. Now
that is due to the debate. It will be a different
set of numbers for TLW. The show was not on
Monday nor Wednesday. So it only gets a 3 day
average. The same goes for TRMS.

BOR is averaging 2,867,000/570,000. Way out
in front.360 is getting half of his demo with
way fewer viewers. This could get interesting.
That is a difference of only 279,000 in demos.

Thursday counts for all 3 shows.

    At 10 PM 360 is averaging 779,000/278,000.

    MSNBC has 1,653,000/532,000

    OTR is averaging 1,791,000/432,000.

Ed was actually on 2 nights this week so those
are MSNBC numbers for the hour.So in reality
he did not top OTR or 360 when it comes to
    individual shows rather than hours.

Couple of other points from last night :

Piers Morgan won the demo at 9. Ironically.
MSNBC and CNN topped FNC in the demo at
11 with a speech repeat. The demos were
    around 50 % for both.

This is the only blog with the news that
Erin Burnett becomes a part of the CNN
lineup on Oct. 3rd. 3 weeks to see what
    happens.

Stay tuned. We will keep an eye out to see
what type of show Outfront will be and if it
changes things at 7 for CNN. Soon we will
all find out if she beats the ratings for JK.

  11. Erin Burnett does not project. Period.
She appears timid and afraid to express herself and just because she's "young" doesn't make her good.
CNBC let her go for a reason and we will soon see why.
