HLN’s Emmy Awards® Garners 2 Million Total Viewers


HLN’s Broadcasts of the 39th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards® Garners 2 Million Total Viewers and more than 650k Among P25-54
Five prime telecasts of HLN’s Presentation of the Daytime Emmy Awards® Gross Average Audience Totals 2 Million P2+ and 677k P25-54

According to Nielsen Fast National Data, two million total viewers and 677k P25-54 viewers watched the five broadcasts of the 39th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards® on HLN airing on Saturday, June 23 and Sunday, June 24 8-10p (ET) and 10-12m (ET) and one broadcast at 12m-2a.

The premiere broadcast, Saturday night, June 23, airing 8-10p ranks as the #1 most- watched, regularly-scheduled non-news broadcast in the network’s history with 912k P2+ and 327k among 25-54. Among Women in both total viewers and 25-54, the premiere telecast from 8-10p on Saturday night ranks as the second most-watched Saturday in HLN history.

  1. Those are the same Two million who watch daytime TV. Big Deal.
    "The Newsroom," according to TVN, got 2.1 million last nite for HBO and will probably be cancelled.
    While in sharp contrast,"Boadwalk Empire" garnered 4.5 million or more.
    Yes, HBO is a subscriber channel, but really when you copy a CNN newsroom, who wants to watch?
    Boring.
