White House Correspondents’ Dinner on CNN

CNN to Offer Live Coverage of the White House Correspondents’ Dinner
                On Saturday, April 27, CNN will provide coverage of the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. ET. The dinner brings together President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama, top lawmakers and Hollywood’s A-list.
                The network’s coverage will be hosted by Don Lemon, with White House correspondent Brianna Keilar and entertainment correspondent Nischelle Turner. The first hour of coverage will feature the best moments from White House Correspondents’ dinners past and the 10 p.m. hour will provide viewers live coverage of Pres. Obama's remarks and entertainment by comedian Conan O’Brien.
                In addition, CNN Newsroom will provide live updates of the red carpet arrivals during the 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. ET hours.

  1. Conan O'Brien made a crack about Anderson and Rachel Maddow.
    He said they "both understand one another, but together nothing would ever happen." Neither was there.
    The room burst into laughter because it was one of his better moments.
    He also went after John King for his misinformation during the Boston bombing arrests.

  2. President Obama's monologue was brilliant at the Correspondent's dinner, especially when he showed himself with his new look for his new term....with bangs.
    The First Lady did not look all that amused.
    Conan O'Brien, on the other hand, read most of his monologue, and except for a few odd moments, most of what he said fell flat.
    Over the years the only comedian that actually came across well, was Lewis Black and he didn't look down at the podium once, from what I remember.
