  | Monday is a holiday in many countries across the globe. Whether you're celebrating Veterans Day, Poppy Day, Armistice Day or Remembrance Day, the day is a way to honor the men and women who have served their countries. November 11th is the anniversary of the signing of the Armistice that ended World War I. (Major hostilities of World War I were formally ended at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918 with the German signing of the Armistice.) (source: wikipedia). To all of those who have served and sacrificed for their country. Thank you! |
