Balls & Buses

Why exactly is Ali Velshi’s latest prop on American Morning a soccer ball? And who was able to upstage Ali and his soccer ball? The following clip is from Thursday’s American Morning and follows the bouncing ball through the program.

The website mentioned in the clip is Business Council for Peace and is also available through the American Morning website under the Minding Your Business - Mentioned on the show section.

After Jon Stewart referred to Ali Velshi as the “hairless profit of doom”, Ali took his defense to the airwaves. Here’s a clip of a segment that I heard on CNN Radio on May 9th (along with a few Ali screen caps.)

How would you like to get an inside look at the CNN Election Express Bus? CNN recently posted two podcasts that do just that. The tour is hosted by Josh Rubin. He provides a great behind the scenes look at how this rolling CNN bureau functions. You can download the two part All Access podcast from CNN.com/podcasts, watch the videos on CNN.com (part one / part two), or watch the clips below:

  1. No offense to Kiran but the chemistry
on American Morning is awesome these
days. It will be interesting to see if AM's
ratings are higher while Kyra fills in.
