Ali Velshi has been taking a closer look at ways the United States can reduce its dependency on oil, this week on American Morning. I'm very familiar with, and less than enthusiastic, about ethanol as an alternative fuel, but I did not know coal was a possibility. CNN has a huge conflict of interest with promoting coal, since it is the major sponsor of election coverage. But it's still an interesting concept. Here's Ali's presentations so you can judge it's merits for yourselves.
