The CNN Grill

The concept of the CNN Grill was born during the 2004 Republican National Convention. It was such a success that CNN expanded upon the idea and took over two restaurants for the 2008 conventions. Situated immediately adjacent to the delegate entrances, the CNN Grills serve as additional broadcast centers that bring news makers and the media together to mingle with CNN guests. Brooklyn’s restaurant is located adjacent to the Pepsi Center in St. Paul is the place for the Republicans to meet and greet. The Eagle Street Grille, located next to the Xcel Energy Center, was the place to be for the Democrats. Here is an inside look at both CNN grills and those who are enjoying the atmosphere.

CNN sure does know how to throw a party. Looks like we viewers missed out on all the fun. Until next week. ~Phebe

  1. You are right, looks like a fun place to hang out. And the Grill in Denver looks cool even on the outside.
As a CNN t-shirt lover, I just have to say that I love that "Politics-Hamburgers" tee!
    Thanks Phebe
