With All Due Respect

HLN will air a new one-hour special entitled With All Due Respect this weekend. The special features HLN anchor Robin Meade, TNT NBA analyst Charles Barkley, TBS MLB analyst Dennis Eckersley and TNT NASCAR analyst Kyle Petty. It will include the trio giving their opinions on topics ranging from sports to world news, entertainment and current events. With All Due Respect will premiere on HLN on Sunday, Dec. 20 at 10 p.m. (ET).
On Wednesday this week Robin Meade talked with Anderson Cooper on AC360 about her special, the guests on her panel and the wide ranging topics they cover ...including Tiger Woods. Cooper shared with Robin his first meeting with basketball great Charles Barkley. Here's the clip:

  1. The conversation between Cooper and Meade is the perfect example as to why CNN is failing. Cooper, the supposed hard news journalist, who makes silly botox faces on R@K during the day, and moonlites as the journalist at nite, talking to Ms Giggly perky from HLN. Question: Does anyone there know what they want to be? Cooper certainly doesn't and he works for a station that can't find its identity either.
At least FOX news tells us all what they believe and they know who they are and who their audience is, like or not.

  2. Leave Anderson alone. People get the difference.
They know Regis & Kelly is not news. The man is
a rock solid journalist and does news for CNN.
    Journalists can have fun too.

  3. Robin rocks. She must be doing something right,
there are times when she is ahead of MJ and AM
in viewers and she is clearly ahead in the demo.

  4. Journalists can have as much "fun" as they want. We just don't have to know about it.
