Carville & Matalin Mentioned in Washington Whispers

A few weeks ago, Paul Bedard once again mentioned James Carville and Mary Matalin in his Washington Whispers column for US News & World Report.

It's bad enough for their marriage that Democrat James Carville and Republican Mary Matalin don't agree on politics. So please don't ask them to appear on weekend TV shoutfests together. "I don't like to fight with my husband on TV," Matalin says. "We have to get a martini right after." Over the years, they've chosen to appear jointly only on the late Tim Russert's Meet the Press and CNN's State of the Union with John King. "They aren't for having a fight for fight's sake," says Carville.

  2. I won't be watching CNN at all this week.
The Stimulus Project is the latest attempt
by CNN to try and stroke anger & resentment.
At some point one of the boneheads at CNN
in management will get that your viewers
don't want this. Obama becomes president
and all of a sudden it is your money & keeping
them honest and holding people accountable.
Where was all of this before things fell apart ?
Lame and the ratings will show that people
are not interested.CNN is buying into the
deficit. It is about the economy & jobs.
