Congratulations to Erica Hill & Elaine Quijano


CBS News announced this morning that Erica Hill would be replacing Russ Mitchell as the news anchor for the weekday edition of The Early Show. Hill joins Harry Smith, Maggie Rodriguez, Julie Chen and weatherman Dave Price on the Monday through Friday broadcast. She will continue to co-anchor on the Saturday edition of The Early Show with Chris Wragge.



While we are on the topic of CNN'ers moving to CBS we would also like to congratulate Elaine Quijano who left CNN to join CBS News in New York as a general assignment reporter.

We wish Erica Hill and Elaine Quijano all the best.

    Congratulations to Erica for finally breaking into CBS morning during the week!
    She's finally being recognized and NOT playing second banana or doing silliness like webcam interviews that nobody cares about or watches.
