Soledad O'Brien at University of the Pacific in February 2010

CNN's Soledad O'Brien will the Black History Month Keynote Speaker at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California.

What: Lecture by CNN's "Black in America" correspondent Soledad O'Brien

When: 7 p.m., Wednesday Feb. 3, [2010]

Where: Faye Spanos Concert Hall (Pacific's Stockton campus)

Cost: Free and open to the public

Description: Known for her work on the highly acclaimed CNN's "Black in America" documentary series about the African American community, Soledad O'Brien is the keynote speaker for Pacific's Black History Month celebration. The University-wide celebration consists of numerous activities throughout February in honor of African American history and the contributions that African Americans have made to society. Planned activities include a gospel concert, roundtable discussions and a health fair.
