CNN needs to wake up before it becomes

happened if CNN actually focused on the
news and quit boring viewers to death
with opinion.
TVNewser is reporting that CNN broke the story of the "once great and reknowned," Jack Hanna and his connection to Sea World.
ReplyDeleteIn prior posts I also accused Hanna of having a connection but didn't quite know what it was until he revealed that he is on the Board, which means there may well be a law suit pending????
I used to adore him because I felt he worked for the good of the animals, but I've since come to the conclusion, after viewing his nasty confrontation with Jane Velez Mitchell, also on TVNewser, that it is for profit FIRST AND FOREMOST. How disappointing and good for CNN to have exposed him.
Hope LK DOESN'T have him on anymore. I know I wouldn't be watching him USE innocent animals.
If the Humane Society of the United States didn't endorse Sea World, there was a reason, and now we all know why.

the way they deliver the news. Real time
news is what is needed. When it comes
to explaining and having a discussion
about a topic like reconciliation how about
having a couple of historians put things
into perspective.
It is amazing that someone like Ezra Klein
who knows all things health care is never
on 360. Opinions are just like heads. We
all have them.I am not sure if the people
at CNN know what news is any more..
If you think the pundits are no longer
relevant look at their ages. They are
older. The pundits get way too much
face time on CNN and says some of the
dumbest things.In 24 hrs you get no
news.
FB,Youtube & Twitter are news distribution
tools.I bet you could get a better news
show with ordinary people sending news
items about what is happening around
them and people who just come across
stuff on the web.CNN is under the false
belief that people live politics 24/7/365.
We are not consumed by politics like
the people on cable news. Can you say
disconnect?
"How about a couple of historians put things in perspective." Really? I don't know about you, but I'm not about to watch "historians" put anything into perspective. What we don't need is for CNN to become THE HISTORY CHANNEL.
ReplyDeleteAnd what is "real time news?" If its people calling in stuff, we already have it. It's called twitter.
Someone must tell Rick Sanchez that Jon Stewart was not complimenting him the other nite when he spent 10 minutes satiring the things he did wrong covering the earthquake in Chile. So far Sanchez is quoted as saying, He is Jon's biggest fan, and he does things fast because as Jon Stewart pointed out, "He's like someone on cocaine at a party."
ReplyDeleteThese were not compliments. They were phrases used to satirize and parody an anchor who knows "nothing." Stop quoting him or you will end up like Charlie Rangel....on a leave of absence.
