  1. CNN is the most pathetic so-called cable news
channel on the planet. MSNBC royally kicked
CNN's behind with coverage of troops pulling
out of Iraq. CNN clearly dropped the ball on
this one and MSNBC blew them out of the water.
This is the type of event when you have your
reporters in the thick of the event and have
people live as events unfold with troop
interviews. Richard Engel and Rachel Maddow
were live from Iraq.360 should have been a
special hour but their content was absolutely
a disgrace.CNN is a national joke and needs
to no longer call itself a cable news network.
No packages, no interviews on the pullout
from Iraq.CNN once was good at covering
the news I don't know what they are doing
now but I know I don't like it and I now have
a brand new news channel. MSNBC stood
head and shoulders above all of the others
on Wednesday and CNN can't figure out
what needs to be done with an event like
this. CNN should have had a plan for this
event and ready to spring into action. We
all know this day was coming but you
could not see it on CNN. CNN is totally
    worthless.CNN had more live coverage
of the balloon boy fiasco than American
combat troops pulling out of Iraq. This
would never happen with Ted Turner
around and CNN could really use Turner
right now because the current management
team is a disgrace to a once great news
channel that knew it's purpose and what
it stood for and what their daily mission
was. There is no passion for the news on
CNN anymore and it shows in volumes when
you try and watch the channel.CNN is pure
    ratings repellent.

  2. The ratings will continue to decline for CNN
as long as they engage in pundit palooza.
CNN's wounds are self inflicted and there
is zero leadership at the network.CNN has
    lost it's collective mind.

  3. That is what CNN gets for not beefing up its
news staff and relying on the chatter boxes.
At this point CNN is beyond fixing.

  4. CNN was too buy portraying Dr Laura as
a victim rather than doing real news and
you wonder why CNN is headed over a
cliff. Nobody cares about Dr. Laura. Just
take a look at Larry King's ratings for the
night she was on . Please CNN move on
and cover some real news. Do your viewers
and yourself a favor and at least try and
look like a 24/7 news channel. CNN just
can't stop dumbing down the news and
the dumber they get people turn the
    channel.

  5. Have to agree with all the commentors. Nobody could be deployed to Iraq because Anderson was on vacation???
CNN's ratings were a disgrace for Wednesday according to TVN. Only John Roberts on 360
    held his own.

  6. Content on CNN is horrible. Nobody sits
around and talk politics all day long. Only
on cable news is this possible and they
wonder why they don't have viewers. Like
this is what most people relate to. No way
Americans have lives and have to work and
take care of things. It is a huge disconnect.
I wish one cable news show could actually
tell me what is going on but they just want
to talk amongst themselves. Everybody knows
the pundits are always wrong. Most people
know is you constantly got things wrong
you would not be in that position very long.

  7. CNN employs people who constantly spread
the rumor that President Obama is a Muslim.
Last night John King let Franklin Gharam say
that Obama was born a Muslim and it did not
challenge him. There are a growing number of
Americans who don't go to church or have much
faith in modern day religion.CNN Obama is not
a Muslim and you know this so why would you
do a story about Obama's religion and do the
next story about the fear of Islam. yet again
CNN freaks out over 18 %. You are telling me
that this was the only guy CNN could get.
No, they know he makes over the top quotes
about Islam. So why would you have this guy
come on and talk about Obama's faith. What
    a sham.

  8. CNN has lost it's viewers and they are not
going to come back with the addition of
Elliot Spitzer & Piers Morgan. CNN only
wants white males in prime time can you
    say dumb move.

  9. TVN has a big one. Nancy Lane is leaving CNN.
This is another individual who understands the
history of CNN and quite frankly just like
Amanpour can't support the direction that CNN
seems to be heading. Right now 360 is the only
CNN show I watch and when it uses pundits or
has a ridiculous lead I watch Countdown. TSR
used to be good but they got rid of the internet
reporters and now TSR is way too boring. If CNN
goes with the lineup that is being mentioned, I
wonder if CNN will have trouble with advertisers.
I can't see this helping CNN's ratings. Campbell
got higher numbers than Rick Sanchez and
now CNN wants to replace Larry King with
a British tabloid journalist. I will be watching
Countdown & Rachel or network television.
The new season starts next month.

  10. CNN blew it with this lineup. Just take a look
at CNN.com and you will see why CNN needs
to have females in prime time with their own
show not as sidekicks. How can you ignore
women and expect for your audiences to
grow.It is not possible and ;you will never
expand your audiences with that mindset.

  11. Get ready for another BORING week on CNN and 360. Do we really need to see AC standing in the park in NOLA or better yet maybe we'll be treated to the line up of cheer leading teeny boopers that have been on previously all pawning all over him and saying zip about what's actually happening in NOLA.
I realize the other networks are paying tribute for the fifth anniversary, but CNN never knows when enough is enough. AC was there for 8 weeks just this past July!
Cooper should have been in Iraq this week, just like MSNBC. No wonder CNN is last. It deserves to be.

  12. CNN is totally irresponsible and has been this
way for a year. Facts are being tossed out the
window as CNN's desperation playa out right
over the airwaves.CNN gets it's stories ideas
from right wing media which mean they are
not independent in selecting the real news
stories of the day. CNN has spread hate and
misinformation and viewers are not interested
in what CNN is offering. Anyone who has watched
CNN for some time know this is nothing but
CNN becoming the FNC.If viewers wanted FNC
would they be watching CNN. Now airing
right before 360 will be 2 shows that are
not news oriented but opinion oriented.
Just like CNN messed up the programs that
leads into The Sit Room , the have found a
way to set up a ratings hit for 360.What
John King did with the Franklin Graham
interview is irresponsible and yet again
last night John King, USA had a banner
with the words Obama born a Muslim.
The only other thing on the banner was
Graham : Now how many people you think
saw that portion of the banner. CNN has
become the fear and hate and misinformation
network and there is a huge backlash.
CNN should know that most black churches
are not fundalmentalist and Franklin Graham
has now clue. To bring on a so- called
minister to question another person;s faith
is just absolutely dumb and shows CNN
is not thinking . A lot of people are wondering
why did Pew and Time even ask this question
and have the ever asked that question about
other presidents and the answer is no.CNN
is responsible for they downturn and just
wait and see if they can even get 300, 000
viewers in prime time come this fall. With
this lineup they will be lower in the demo
    and loose more viewers.
