Sometime this week the ratings for the month of
November will be released and it is a given that
the news won't be good for CNN. I must say there
are some things that CNN is doing right. They now
see that you need to show demos when you talk
about websites and what they do. Let's hope that
CNN understands this is a way for news segments
to be a little interactive. I hope in 2011 CNN goes
with real time news and at least drops the crawl
when running any video,packages,maps,graphics
and the media bar will replace the crawl. It is
time for the crawl to retire. Also, no comment
news segments that would feature clips from
CNN.com or CNN International or the lovely
features from photojournalists at CNN. I am
hoping that CNN will devote one 2 hour
segment to internet, tech science news. CNN
has Mario, Katie, the guy who does the tech
segments with Fred on the weekends, some
sort of relationship with Mashable and Josh
Levs. Sandra Endo and and the digital people
who come on CNN.CNN has to evolve for the
Digital Age and get more content oriented.
No more reading tweets on the air. You can
actually use Twitter, Face Book & You Tube
for news.

Once upon a time, CNN had a tech show
on weekends and ran some news shows
from CNN I. At least give us more CNN I
and less repeats on the weekends. Spud
at ICN is right somebody needs to really
be a 24/7 news channel. CNN can fill the
void. Throw in Errol Barnett and Kristi Lu
Stout. The 2 are on CNN I.
