  1. Watching Joe Johns anchoring Sit Room right now is painful.

  2. CNN will likely get a bump in the ratings. Last
night CNN averaged 1,014,000/313,000 in PT
according to TV BY THE NUMBERS.

    At 8, 360 was 1,010,000/304,000. Averaging
to 839,000/272 for the week.It seems that 360
will have big ratings tonight. On Monday we will
find out how big the numbers will be. We are
thinking 360 will average more than 1 million
viewers at 8 for the week. Easily a solid 2nd.
We are waiting for the final numbers for today
before running all of the numbers. Tonight is
going to be big. Look for huge numbers this
    weekend as well.

    10 PM 360 had 955,000/343,000 on Thursday.
That gives us an average of 888,000/294,000
    for the week; excluding tonight.

We would be stunned if CNN did not air 2 live
hours of 360 tonight. Hurricane Irene is the big
news story until the end of the month.CNN has
to be live until midnight on this Friday.

We hope that everything turns out okay. Do
what is best for you and your families. Same
things goes for all of those CNN crews. Irene
is going to be one mean hurricane.

  3. When it comes to 'event' news and breaking news is what CNN does best and who the world turns to first! Will be glued all weekend to that channel it looks like.
