I am trying to look on the bright side. At least CNN is now handily beating HLN. Ratings are up for everybody but clearly MSNBC got the biggest boost post convention. Even Sharpton and Matthews are seeing 1 million+ total viewers. I used to like Anderson but it does seem his stardom is fading (at least in the news biz). He did a good job at the DNC but he already seems to get bored again. Plus, is it me or does he need a nap - he is stammering and mispronouncing much more than usual, like he's not as prepared as he used to be. I think CNN is making a big mistake by trying to pin all their hopes on Piers Morgan. Wolf is good but you can't just put him on TV 24 hrs a day. If CNN loses their grip on being the TV source for breaking news around the world, then they are toast. Its already happening.

I happened to catch HLN's Robin Meade on Morning Express for a couple of mornings and is was impressed with her performance and stamina.
She is a natural for the teleprompter and reads rather quickly but her projection is considerably better than someone like Erin Burnett.
I think she is an underated talent and should be moved to CNN permanently.
