Alina Cho No Longer with CNN



We had a reader email us late last week about the possible departure of Alina Cho from CNN.  They said her contract expired at the end of August and wasn't renewed.  CNN responded to our questions with:

 “Alina Cho is a terrific reporter and host. We thank her for all her work at CNN over the last decade and wish her every success on her next endeavor.”

    I will miss Alina Cho at CNN. She is a great anchor and I always thought she would eventually get her own Newsroom block or even a weekly half hour fashion pop culture type show rather than every once in a while. I can see her eventually ending up at somewhere like E! as an anchor or perhaps a new co-host of Fashion Police. Perhaps even working the red carpet.

    Sad to see Alina leave CNN. Charlie Rose rocks. CNN should have hired him for the 9PM show. Dude is so saving 360 Later. It should have only been Andrew Sullivan and Christanne work. The show is only an hour so having too many people talk will drag down the show. Charlie Rose schooled them all.
