Christiane Amanpour and her husband James Rubin, former Assistant Secretary of State and spokesman for the US State DepartmentPolitico is reporting that Christiane Amanpour is in talks with ABC News to be the permanent host of 'This Week'. A CNN spokesperson declined to comment but sources say she’s among the internal and external candidates ABC is considering to replace George Stephanopoulos, who left to co-anchor “Good Morning America” in December.
