Reality Show

To my surprise, yesterday morning while I was reading the Washington Post Online, I discovered that Howard Kurtz, the host of CNN's Reliable Sources, had a new book scheduled to be released today. Reality Show: Inside the Last Great Television News War takes a look at the big three networks news departments and the anchors currently at their helms.

Kurtz's Washington Post article in the Post is adapted from the new book.

On Sunday, Kurtz adding blogging to his resume ( http://anchorwars.blogspot.com/ ). In today's blog post, he listed the TV appearences he has scheduled for Wednesday, October 10th to promote the new book:

For those who want to follow the grand tour, I'll be on ABC's Good Morning America at 8:30. Doing CNN's Situation Room sometime between 4 and 6, and then the O'Reilly Factor in the 8 p.m. hour.

In an online chat that he did on Monday, he mentioned that he will also be on the Daily Show with John Stewart on Thursday, October 11th.

The C Span interview with Toobin was excellent. I'm about 1/2 way through The Nine and loving it.
