On Sunday, 5/17, Christiane Amanpour delivered the commencement address to 578 Dickinson College graduates. She talked about her life and how she got started at CNN. Her advice to students: "God gave gifts and talents to everyone, but talents are not enough. Hard work really makes the difference. Battle the word 'no.' Forge through it to keep on your chosen path. Wolf Blitzer also delivered a commencement address last weekend. He talked about his sports playing in highschool and college and how that taught him a lesson, stating: "The lesson here is if at first you don't succeed, try something else." resulting in him turning his attention from football to journalism.
