Once again, FOX consistently had the highest Adults 25 - 54 demographic all five nights and for all three prime time hours.
As for everyone else... at 8PM, it was almost a sweep. MSNBC had the second highest average ratings for the week after coming in second on four out of five nights. Next, comes HLN in third (they came in second one time and the rest of the week slipped to third.) CNN was a consistent fourth all five nights.
The 9PM hour mirrored the 8PM hour... MSNBC came in second place four out of five nights. CNN came in third four out of five nights. HLN held the fourth place spot all five nights.
During the 10PM hour - all three networks took second place on at least one night. At the end of the week, HLN had the second highest average for the week. Three of the nights they were in third place and two nights they took second place. CNN's average for the week put them in third place even though they had two second place finishes, but the two third place finishes and the one fourth place finish (on Friday night) brought their average for the week down. MSNBC took second place on Friday night, but lagged behind in fourth the other four nights.

Why CNN fails.CNN is to busy covering stuff
that is not news. Tonight Brown's lead is on
FNC and how they cover President Obama.
Why on earth would that even be a lead story
on CNN/ Please fire her now.
I was just on TV Newser and these confirm the
obvious, CNN will be 4th for the Month of June.
I said it before and I will say it again.CNN has
no idea how to actually use social media.
Current is the only channel who really gets social
media. They understand that it is a way to really
relate to your viewers by letting them submit news
and stories called pods(that they actually pay for).
Hire Conor Knighton, Sarah Haskins, who does
a great segment on Infomania called target
women. It's about how the media treats women
and it is great. While you are at it hire as many
people from the network and possible. Heck
maybe if they get rid of Klein they can hire the
person who runs Current.CNN is toast because
of their handling of the Iranian elections. They
have a huge problem. Viewers don't think CNN
is a real news channel. Look for there to be a
huge push to pressure many satellite and cable
providers to add the BBC 24 hour news channel.
I think Fios offers the network in America.
CNN will likely make changes soon. After June
look for a shakeup. The question is how extensive
it will be and if if will be carried out by current
management or a whole new team ? There is one
fiasco after another at CNN these days. I don't
see how manage survives for not fixing the
problems which seem to be spreading. Part
of the problem is CNN arrogance to think their
viewers would take them morphing into FNC.
Sadly I think they are still going to stick with
a long list of pundits. Don't they get it like
MSNBC finally figured out. It pays to have
people on the air who know what they are
talking about. Not the so-called debate
from paid political partisans.CNN decided
to become a relic that may cost then dearly.
Let's see if they make it. It just looks like
nobody is in charge at the network and it
is falling apart.
CNN is in big trouble. This can not continue.
TV by the Numbers has the ratings for Weds,
and as seems to be the norm these days, not
a good one for CNN. One lesson CNN just can
not seem to learn is people want news. This
morning on AM a guy from Wired hinted that
the media may be giving a little too much
credit to Twitter when it comes to Iran. Other
social media is likely playing a much bigger
role.CNN needs to get back into the news biz
and information instead of the mindless talk
that is bring down the network. This is a no
brainer CNN. Do the news and let MSNBC &
FNC play that game.
CNN needs to do a Nightline type program at
8 and replace Dobbs with a CNN+viewer generated
news program at 7. Let the viewers submit items.
Try TJ Holmes,Nicole Lapin and Jack Gray. Jack has
more than 200-thousand followers on Twitter.
I too am a Conor Knighton fan. If CNN runs an
Infomania type news show before 360. The
numbers will go through the roof.
CNN had better start doing news. The numbers
are in for Thursday.CNN really needs to tread
carefully when it comes to social media.MySpace
is laying off 30 % of it's workforce. News will save
CNN.
At this point CNN is toast. Come June 29
MSNBC will be in HD with news programs
MSNBC is serious about taking it to CNN.
Jon Klein made it way to easy by moving
to talking head land and away from news
that is vital to CNN's existence.
