Sanjay Gupta was recently on Good Morning America who also posted an excerpt of his new book, Cheating Death, on their website:
Prologue
I don't want to achieve immortality through my work. I want to achieve it through not dying. —Woody AllenI'm going to let you in on a little secret: When the heart stops beating, it's not the end. In fact, you might say that your troubles have only just begun. As it turns out, life and death is not a black-and-white issue. There is a gray zone—a faint no-man's-land where you are neither truly dead nor actually alive. In order to control it, in order to cheat death, we have to fi rst better understand it.

While Dr.Gupta has a very nice prologue, let's say he's still an MD that believes in conventional medicine. Unlike Dr.Gupta, Suzanne Somers believes that conventional medicine doesn't always work and she especially doesn't have good things to say about chemotherapy. In her new book on wellness, which is certain to be a best seller, she advises agaisnt it....at all costs. I'm with her on this and will be watching LKL on Friday as will millions of others. She has something really DIFFERENT to say.
