Won't be watching CNN anymore. Tonight
CNN officially embraced craziness. It just
shows how desperate CNN is. It is too low
for my taste and CNN is no long a news
organization. At some point someone at
the network will see that if CNN keeps
getting away from serious discussions
and news, they will be history really soon.
I can say since CNN seems to have lost
it's mind with this bither silliness I am
sick of the network and they are an
absolute failure.

The birth certificate is a settled issue with most sane people and CNN should be avoiding the subject like the plague, instead they are giving airtime to Orly Taitz, the lunatic birther who was on John King's program Friday. This woman's lawsuits have been repeatedly thrown out of court but somehow CNN still believes her nutty point of view deserves a platform. Unbelievable.

Let's see how CNN plans to cover the Tea Party rallies this weekend - they weren't so keen on covering those HUGE rallies in Wisconsin with the union supporters.

Does CNN realize that Donald Trump is
really not running for president. It is a
joke and publicity stunt. The show is
has celebrities. They are the draw and
not Trump. Anon 4:51 , you are right,
CNN knows that lie is not true yet
lately CNN is devoting time to 2 fake
news stories. The tea party is very
unpopular right now as is CNN. Some
are starting to consider CNN to be
racist and they will pay a price.

CNN is about to go over a cliff. Not only
are people not watching the network, you
are encouraged to not visit the website as
well. CNN has completely alienated viewers
with brains and that is what will make them
crash and they deserve everything they have
coming for damaging the brand. BBC is
growing faster than CNN on the web. People
don't care for the crap that CNN is peddling.
Shame on CNN.

I'm not sure who the biggest laughing stock
right now : CNN or Donald Trump.

Orly Taitz has been discredited and CNN
gives the craziest woman on the planet
air time. Who is in charge of CNN ?

TJ had some sad news this morning. He said
that Reynolds father had passed away. Our
thoughts and prayers are with his family.
Reynolds is one of our favorites on CNN.

CNN will regret embracing the tea party.
Just today one of them circulated a racist
Obama e-mail. CNN has decided to not
have any standards and principles. Why
does CNN insists on giving their network
as a platform for people to come on and
lie to viewers. CNN is the only network
who actually disses it's viewers. At the
rate they are going they will turn viewers
off who won't come back. We all have a
breaking point.

Candy Crowley had Donald Trump on her program and she saved him for last...I suspect as a reserved "goodie."
She acted with such reverence you'd think she was speaking to someone who had just gotten knighted by the Queen of England.
She did not bring up the birther issue, but there again giving Trump any air time is a waste.
Trump managed to diss Obama by calling him "ineffective" and a "bad Presient" so therefore HE JUST had to save us all and throw his hat in the ring...maybe.

Donald Trump does not deserve the attention
CNN is giving him. The ratings for The Apprentice
have been going down since Trump has been
doing this. Comcast is going to cancel the show
and he is just trying to get another tv gig. TV BY
THE NUMBERS has the ratings from last night.

I've never watched Candy Crowley's program and after what anon 1:15 am says about her kid glove treatment of Donald Trump, I never will. Crowley has never been a favorite of mine in spite of her being well respected and beloved on these CNN/AC fan sites, but I've always suspected her to have a right leaning bias. How could she not challenge Trump on the birther issue and treat him as though he were on the same level as the President? This is why I've become disillusioned with CNN. It's becoming clearer by the day that CNN has a not so subtle anti-Obama agenda and is catering to anyone who promotes the idea that he should be a one term President. All kinds of questions were raised about President Obama's qualifications to be commander-in-chief (and they STILL question him) and yet reporters like Crowley and others don't see fit to ask clowns like Trump what makes them think they have the skills and abilities to be President, it's disgusting.

Trump believes his only qualification is his ego. He's rich and has his name branded on every building he built.
In that same Crowley interview, Trump said he'd go into Libya and just "take the oil." Really? It's that easy?
If it's that easy why can't everyone of us on this blog do it?
This was Crowley's pefect opportunity to call him Trump out on his own brashness by saying: "That is totally unrealistic and HOW would you accomplish this feat?"
But No. She say there gazing at him as though she were a contestant on the Apprentice herself, waiting for his approval.
It's times like these when you ask yourself: Do we really need the Press Corp and be so totally ineffective?

I think some of you are being a little hard on the anchors. They take their cues from the network brass, I just don't see it as being their call. We've all seen the Tea Party direction CNN has taken in the past few months so why would they allow their anchors make Trump, Taitz, etc look like the fools they are?

CNN was a miserable third with all their primetime programs last week. If that doesn't show them they are on the wrong path nothing will.

It wouldn't surprise me if the bosses at CNN have some "boost the Tea Party/Right Wing" directive going on with their anchors/reporters/programs, but I can't let some of the reporters totally off the hook when it comes to being biased - you can sometimes detect it in the way they frame the questions they ask and although I do like Anderson, he has a tendency to ask questions of pundits (especially Obama critics) in a manner that is sure to elicit a negative response. He does this ALL THE TIME and I find it incredibly frustrating. On the other side of the coin, I noticed some people complaining on Twitter about what they perceived to be biased (toward conservatives) reporting from Soledad O'Brien on Monday and I'm assuming that they're referring to the controversial Obama emails sent out by some right wing politician. So, it depends on your perspective/perception, but that doesn't change the fact that CNN continues to lean right overall. Rachel Maddow did a great piece on how the Tea Party's influence is not nearly as strong or as popular as some in the media would have us believe and I KNOW that's right, but CNN is still promoting them as though they were the only important voices out there. CNN needs to get a clue.
