It was a surprise to see Hala, Natalie & Isha
anchoring on CNN Domestic this week. I 'm
wondering if this means they are trying out
to be the weekend morning anchor now that
TJ Holmes has departed. Alina Cho is likely
in the mix as well.

Isha Sesay is incredible. Yesterday, she did a very
emotional interview with the mother of a soldier
who was shot and paralyzed. She really connected
with the mom and it was obvious that the mom
felt comfortable talking with Isha Sesay. You could
see and feel the emotion and it was authentic. It
was so emotionally gripping. The mother was just
remarkable and at times cried. Isha Sesay is very
good at talking to you rather than at you. She's a
natural and good interviewer. So also has energy
and a glow that is refreshing. Anderson Cooper
& Isha Sesay are great on 360 but this was a
different environment. Isha Sesay rocks. I hope
we do see more of her on CNN.

The new morning shows are set to premiere this Monday morning January 2nd and still no promos yet? 5AM-7AM will be CNN Wake Up Call with Ashleigh Banfield & Zoraida Sambolin, and 7AM-9AM is will be the new unnamed Soledad O'Brien morning show. Piers Mirgan got so much promoting and they haven't yet.

I happen to like Hala and she was anchoring this morning around 10AM
EST. She is very precise and direct and is all business and maybe that's just what CNN needs.
Someone who is structured who knows what they're doing and can comprehend what they're reading.
Hala works CNNI and knows a thing or two about foreign events and has the smarts to be a professional when needed, and seems very comfortable both in front and behind the lens.
She's also articulate, so that the viewer never has to strain to understand her every word.
I do hope management is trying out new people, because CNN needs new faces.

I don't see Hala or Isha coming to CNN for any weekend job, they deserve far better and they know it. Both need to be on CNN weekdays in place of the not so talented group they have now.

I also think it's odd there are no promos for the new morning shows. We were beat down with the Erin Burnett promos that are still playing regularly.

Yes, those that are paid ridiculous salaries, such as Piers and Burnett and even Cooper, are what's promoted.
Those people who's salaries are not that large, are hardly recognized and soon CNN will just disappear into oblivion because it has become irrelevant.
No one watches it and it's their own fault.
