CNN should give Wolf Blitzer the 9 PM slot in
2012. With a GOP Debate on FOX, Rachel got
286,000 in the demo. Piers had 88,000. There
is no way he can ever top Rachel with an election
in the news. CNN wake up.

I am really going to miss waking up on weekend
mornings to watch TJ Holmes. CNN weekends
will never be the same. I am watching CNN right
now with tears. Fred & Nadio are saying bye-bye
but he has 1 more weekend.

Both Erin Burnett and Piers Morgan made Salon's
Hack List 2011. Salon nails it. Given his past why
did CNN go there ? Nothing about him is sincere
and the camera picks up on him being a fake. He
is CNN's worst hire ever.

Erin Burnett is in over her head. Giving her an hour
was another bad call by CNN. She can't handle the
news and it is painful trying to watch her.

CNN needs to cancel Out Front and PMT. Do your
viewers a favor.

CNN is operating with an outdated business model.
It is about content not ideology. CNN needs tot go
for people who create shows. Personalities that are
likable . There are too many repeats. Programs
need to be wide-ranging. Does every single show
on CNN have to look the same.

Aisha Tyler, Conor Knighton, Jason Silva & Max
Lugavere. Aisha's has a very popular podcast on
I-Tunes and shows off her news knowledge on
The Talk. Go for the Vanguard team at Current
as well. You could put Stormbo on any hour and
it would work. It is more news/interview. Yes he
can be funny. Strombo has strong literary interest.
The show is never the same each night.

Looks as though Mr. Cooper is sinking fast at 10PM with a total of 314 on Thursday. Oh it must be someone elses fault. Not his. His lead in or his lead out, who got a 270 something, Ms Burnett.
I know to those doubters, this can't be true, but I do believe we are seeing a bit too much of him and celebrities dejur, as they say, and not enough of what he does best. Field Reporting.
But since he's turned over a NEW leaf so have we.
Mr.Cooper: Unless the Real One Returns, your loyal fan base is looking else where.
This is fair warning.....day and nite.

I am happy to hear the Christiane Amanpour will be returning to CNN. She truly is a great reporter. Anderson Cooper 360 has become boring. I really wish he would leave his talk show to focus more on CNN. Since his show began in September, he has not once left the country for field reporting. Last time was in the Summer when he traveled to Egypt. Unfortunately his talk show was renewed for a second season. Piers Morgan tonight needs to move to weekends. Erin Burnett isn't good at what she does, and John King is SO BORING to watch! Seriously when his show comes on after the Situation Room, I turn the channel. CNN needs to give Don Lemon the 10PM hour weekdays! He deserves the move!

7:07PM: I agree about Don.
He does deserve to be a regular full time anchor.
I watch him on weekends and his delivery is always in earnest.
He really tries his best to put forth effort and never "phones it in," or takes his audience for granted.
What he should do, is a little self promotion or change managers.
OR....go on Live with Kelly.
Everyone is trying out and I really think Don would be a great addition on that show.

Like it or not 360 will be on at 8 & 10 PM. It's the
top demo for CNN at 10 PN. The books are closed
for the year. It is all about New Year's day 2012.
The Iowa Caucuses are on Jan 3rd. CNN,FNC &
MSNBC all are thinking about next year.

It is in the interest of Time Warner for Anderson
Cooper to keep his daytime talk show. The company
is making millions and besides it has already been
renewed for season 2.

Soledad O'Brien announced on Twitter that her show begins right away after the holidays on Monday January 2nd. So excited for this! She will be reporting from Iowa for the Caucus. I've also noticed from a recent picture of Don Lemon that he posted on his Twitter that the studio in Atlanta is being turned into the 2012 Election Center.

Someone here needs to take marketing 101.
It is in the interest of any company to succeed, especially a company that sponsors a production, BUT, Time Warner has not always succeeded and to say it is making "millions on 360 or the day show," is just a made up number off the top of someone's head.
Maybe you also write their press releases, which are also made up as in "Erin Burnett is doing better on year end averages than last year," and we all know she's NOT."

I'm happy for Soledad because she has always been an under used talent for CNN.
By why not promote her show the way they are promoting Erin Burnett?
If you didn't have a twitter account, no one would know this, and don't say "Everyone has a twitter account," because they don't.

CNN PLEASE MAKE NEW, BIGGER, CAPITAL-LETTERED GRAPHICS!

Major props to CNN for the way they handled
the death of KIM JONG IL. It just goes to show
you never know what/when news will happen.
CNN needs to add more international news with
the BBC and others looking to break into the US
with a heavy focus on world news. Which is really
necessary. It is a small world. CNN should keep
America competitive with international news. It
is not like they don't have access to CNN I . This
is another example of a major news story with
major consequences. We have 28,000 US troops
on the Korean Peninsula. The military is running
things in North Korea. The next 48 hours will
offer some clues. Please continue with CNN I .

Only CNN & BLOOMBERG gave this story the in
depth coverage it deserves. It is blowing up on
TWITTER & FACEBOOK.

Don't need marketing. It is dollars & sense. 360
is CNN's most profitable show. 360 is having the
effect that CNN hopes for at 8 & 10 PM. The demo
race at 10 is going to become more interesting in
2012. There have been many times this year in
which 360 topped Greta in the demo. You don't
mess that up. It is the most profitable prime time
hour in the CNN lineup. Both ED & Greta 's demos
are moving in the wrong direction. Demos matters
to advertisers. That is how all networks make $$$$.
Soap Operas get viewers but the demo they draw
ends up not being profitable. That is why more
shows like The Chew are coming more popular.

Time Warner makes money off of shows like
Big Bang Theory, 2 And A Half Men, Ellen, etc.
Anderson ( the talk show ) is sold to dozens
of local TV stations across America. TW can't
just pull the plug on Anderson because the TV
stations paid for the show. Contracts. Time
Warner has to deliver Anderson or return they
money. Anderson is making big bucks for TW
just like 360 does via CNN. Not to mention the
advertisers lining up for both shows. If it ain't
losing money, they don't care.

Anderson Cooer had a beautiful segment on 60
Minutes on Sunday. How come they never air on
360 ? Why did CNN stop airing the 60 minutes
stories that Anderson Cooper does for CBS ?

The promo for the Iowa Caucus makes me say
no to CNN. Hear from all sides. What does that
have to do with anything ? Opinion is what makes
CNN's political coverage stink. There is a Gallup
poll that says 75 % want the campaign to be over.
People just don't care for the candidates. CNN
needs an entirely different approach to politics.
There is zero difference between the pundits or
politicians bickering. Turn the channel. Why has
CNN been running that ridiculous PMT promo ?
The NK dictator dies and CNN is running a promo
about Piers Morgan trying to steal Kathy away
from Anderson Cooper . Hello ? What a way to
advertise how bad your network really is now.
Where is the promo for CNN covering NK ? At
least try to act like a news channel.

Here's what I know.
If Anderson was such a money making machine, Disney would have signed him, and they didn't.
They waited the year, and went with Katie Couric.
And it will most likely pay off.
ABC is doing very well in both choice of movies and with shows, such as DWTS.
They are also tied to Dream Works and Pixar.
Wasn't it a person by the name of Steve Jobs who sold it to them?

The NYT, Brian Stelter might think "The Rise of Fox Five," is a good thing, but after watching or trying to watch them for more than ten minutes, I can not imagine anyone with the sense they were born with, being the slightest bit interested in this sub-par, dim witted, senseless group.
Why is this considered an instant hit?
It only rated a l.6 and it was in the 5PM slot, Glen Beck's old spot.
While I was watching, and the only thing that left any sort of impression, other than these were inferior people talking about things they didn't quite understand, was a young woman at the end of the table, taking her spike heeled shoe off in front of the camera, to aparently empty it of a stone or whatever.
Did she realize the camera was on her?
There she sat, for one minute, bare footed actually turning over her shoe and pointing her big toe at the panel!
Now that's what you call a CLASS act, TVN.
