Leading with Whitney every nite has not done that much good for AC/360.
On Wednesday nite at the precious 8
PM hour Anderson came in last in totals.
Which means older viewers, the ones who buy things and have money, turned him off in droves.

Interesting how Anderson Cooper isn't co-anchoring the coverage like he did for Michael Jackson's funeral, the Royal Wedding, and the Space Shuttle final lift off. He hasn't even been present at all the Caucus coverage. His show isn't what it used to be, I miss the old days of his show. Now, his primary focus is his daytime talk show. It's weird seeing him go from being one of the best news journalists to a talk show host. Anyway.

Glad to see Don Lemon anchor the Whitney Houston coverage. I'm sure he will do a great job just like he did for Michael Jackson. I enjoyed watching his documentary Michael Jackson: The Final Days. I'm sure I will enjoy Whitney's documentary Saturday evening. Soledad co-hosting is a good choice. Not sure why Piers is helping out? Kind of random.

Demos are how all of the networks make money
not totals. In cable news you make money on how
many 25-54 year olds you have and 18-49 year
olds if you can get it. Did you miss 10 pm ? Not
that 360 really draws older viewers anyway.

I can't say for certain, but it looks like Anderson has stopped working weekends on CNN when there's a major event happening and IIRC, he never seemed very happy about having to cover Michael Jackson so much, maybe it's not something he's interested in doing, but the ratings for Whitney Houston have been fairly good on 360 so he's backed into a corner?

What the hell has this woman ever done to deserve this kind of attention? Someone, PLEASE make it stop and go away.

@3:21 - You're joking, right? I'm not a Whitney Houston fan but you obviously don't pay attention to pop culture.

8:34AM;
Dream on.
The New Reality is that older folks have money and the younger ones don't.
Period.
Just because TV advertisers are slow to embrace the change doesn't mean AC's ratings are good.
They're not.
Both of his shows are below average.

Chris Christie should NOT have flags flying at half mast because of Whitney Houston.
Is HE crazy??
She wasn't a government official!
She was an entertainer who was an addict who misused her God given talent.
End of story.
Anthing to get votes.

Anderson did very poorly ratings wise on Thursday nite.
Ed and TLW in both slots, plus Greta were in the millions and AC couldn't manage 500,000.
If he keeps doing what he's doing,
he will no longer be a journalist that is recognized for his skill and talent.

@3:21PM
You obviously don't know much about her career.
