Murfreesboro, Tennessee (pop. 100,000) is home to 190 churches… and one mosque. Five times a day members of the Muslim community gather in Islamic Center of Murfreesboro to pray… men in one room, women and children in another. Muslims have lived in Murfreesboro for decades, yet when plans to build a new mosque were approved this summer, questions were raised and the resulting backlash and acts of vandalism revealed a community divided by deep-rooted suspicions about Muslims, and Islam. CNN anchor and special correspondent Soledad O’Brien reports the story of Muslims and non-Muslims, from Murfreesboro to Manhattan, struggling to find common ground in America.

I have been watching Early Start every morning since John Berman debuted but I cannot watch it anymore. It's the same thing every 15 minutes! I'm sure that's the way the show is formatted for people on the go, but I wish it wasn't that way. The only different thing is that at 6:45AM, they interview someone who wasn't featured in the first hour, and have Soledad give a preview for Starting Point. Also, what's up with the constant introduction of anchors on Early Start after EVERY commercial and what's up with the breaking news introduction every 30 minutes about a story that broke over night? Technically it's not breaking news anymore considering it isn't interfering with pre-planned programming.
