I find it VERY interesting how the commercial for Election Night in America had Erin Burnett in it, but then her part in the ad was removed. It shows Wolf Blitzer, then Anderson Cooper, then Candy Crowley, then John King (origionally Erin Burnett).

With all do respect, CNN is over-doing the hurricane coverage (as always). They need to at least incorporate a headlines segment every so often. The storm reached its peak at 9:30PM then slowly died down. CNN pressroom now says they will not air the senate debate Tuesday night so they can continue covering Sandy. Over doing it CNN! Also, what's up with the hurricane graphics information on the bottom of the screen? TOO MUCH POINTLESS INFORMATION! JUST LIKE THE DEBATES! Just show a satelite map with the current category level of the storm.

I agree with @12:30.
CNN also needs to also have bigger, simple graphics. This may be a stretch, but I would think that a factor into CNN's ratings struggle is because there font is too small and should be capitalized and a bit larger. Too much writing going on. The CNN logo needs to be bigger too. It's the smallest thing on screen...

@12:25am
I noticed a similar thing but the first commercial I saw Erin was NOT in it and then the commercial I just watched about 10 minutes ago she was in it (around 6:30am ET). I'm confused?! Is she going to be in the election coverage or not? Was there ever a question? I wish she wasn't there because she has nothing to offer but as the anchor of the lead-in primetime program, its would be strange not to include her. CNN is sending mixed signals, that is for sure.

@12:30 Are they really cancelling the MA debate?!?! REALLY BAD CALL! How much can they still cover of Sandy? You are right, they should have incorporated more news elsewhere just as a break and to let people know they are still covering everything else going on in the world. I can't believe they are cancelling the debate which means Burnett will be back on air. Yuck.

CNN placed Erin Burnett in Battery Park last nite and she was completely, over her head.
Not in water mind you, just over her head, out to lunch, not in touch.
The woman is unable to do field reporting.
Let her stay in the studio, so people don't have to listen to her babble about things she knows nothing about, especially in storms of this magnitude.
Just another mistake from the name you trust in making mistakes...CNN.

What's up with this annoying John Avlon guy? Why is it when he speaks, he does these annoyingly distractive hand movements with the thumb pointing, mimicking Obama or Clinton? Does he think he's the president?

The photo ops of President Obama and Chris Christie in NJ is worth its weight in solid gold, and Mitt Romeny can't buy it.
The story it tells is an example of two different types of political views reaching across the aisle to help those who were victims of mother nature's wrath and no one can duplicate the image.
Hopefully voters will remember that when they vote next Tuesday.
If the GOP believes that the storm was caused by God's will, than God wants Obama to win re-election.

Thank you Mayor Bloomberg for endorsing the President for his stance on climate change.
He said in his endorsement that Romney was a good man but he has reversed his course all things, even his own health care package in his own state.
Who is his right mind, no pun intended, can trust the judgement of a person willing to flap in the breeze on any issue just to get votes??
Romeny gives new meaning to the word flip-flopper: "I come before you to stand behind you, to tell you something, I know nothing about."
So true....and that should be Mitt's New and Improved Campaign Slogan because it is the only line he will ever utter that's Real.
