Merry Christmas to all! Thank you to the makers of this blog for keeping us CNN fans updated with what is going on. I greatly appreciate the fact that the team of this blog moderates comments. I cannot stand other blogs that let people run their mouth with obvious nonsense. Looking forward to what's ahead for CNN in the new year.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I'm not too
optimistic for CNN in 2013. If Jeff Zucker is looking
for people at Variety and THR, that means news has
no meaning. Besides they still don't get it. CNN is
the worst at talking about the fiscal cliff and gun
control. CNN is still using pundits. Some who are
backing the NBA bone-headed proposal about guns
in schools. They still don't get it . Content, format,
presentation, delivery & having a conversational that
is smart and not the same tired old talking points
and hiring mulit-faceted journos who can deliver
you network content for multiple platforms will do
a whole lot more for CNN than industry trade
papers and old media. CNN and HLN are falling
at the same time for the same reason because they
got away from the news and continues to be a big
failure in finding new and innovative ways to make
the news interesting and hip. MSNBC has figured
this out. CNN is clueless and lacks vision. They
should have gone with Chirs Licht or Bill Wolff, who
is the executive producer for TRMS. MSNBC gets
that people like sharing news and information
not some talking heads opinion. Heck, we can do
that on Twitter all day long. Unless CNN finds a
way to be real time with less scripted shows and
gives us fresh content every 25 minutes and lets
the news drives the content of their shows rather
than going with the same tired old stores that is
talked about over and over again with pundits
CNN is so outdated. Try being original and giving
us the FNC .TEANN and fake news items from
right wing blogs. The Huffington Post Live gets
it for the 21st cnetury. CNN thinks it's still the 90's.
