Congratulations to Erin Burnett & David Rubulotta

US Weekly is reporting:

Erin Burnett has made a name for herself reporting the news -- but this time, she is the news! The CNN anchor -- host of her own show, Erin Burnett OutFront -- is pregnant, a CNN rep confirms to
"I can confirm that Erin Burnett and her husband David Rubulotta are expecting their first child in November," the rep tells Us. "They are both very excited."

The news comes six months after the couple's wedding. They married last December in a ceremony at New York's City Hall, a little over a year after announcing their engagement in September 2011.

Burnett, 36, has hosted CNN's Erin Burnett OutFront since 2011. She previously co-anchored CNBC's Squawk on the Street and has also appeared on Meet the Press, the TODAY show, Morning Joe, and NBC Nightly News. Her husband is a managing director for Citigroup.

Put her on maternity leave. What an irritating voice! Her quipped speech and poor phrasing are so annoying.

A long maternity leave starting now sounds like a great idea.

LOL! "RUB U LOTTA" is this guy's real name?! Seriously, I would keep my own last name too. Oh, poor child, they should give the baby Burnett's name. Oh well, no one will make fun of the little guy too much since clearly he will be an untouchable trust fund baby!

So CNN and other media outlets trust an NSA leaker who lied on his resume. There is no way Edward Snowden is being honest with the media. He is embellishing his tory. Some of what he has said had to be corrected. Ask anyone who knows. Hong Kong is one of the most costly places to live. I'm starting to wonder if he was not paid by the Guardian. CNN says he made 200 thousand a year but he was only at the NSA for 3 months. Cable news is becoming useless.

the real question about snowden is: why Hongkong not south america? or russia?

Congratulations to Erin Burnett and I don't think they should put her on early maternity leave.
That is a sexist remark!
Erin Burnett isn't the best anchor but she has gotten better and this we know for sure....the baby is not going to be named a direction from a map.

HBO is giving a very nice tribute to James Gandolfini.
His date of birth and death appears and it says: "Goodbye to our Friend."
The NYT had not one but two articles in devoted to him just today.
One saying that no matter the role, his image as the likeable but very complex character and actor, is indelible as the patriarch of the Sopranos.

The other day Erin was discussing Paula Deen using the N-word and asking a panel that included no African-Americans whether or not the uproar about it was too much. Burnett can't get off my TV screen fast enough.

I'm a woman and I made a remark about an extended maternity leave. Its not sexist. I think she is a terrible anchor and a bad example of journalism for CNN. She has a self-interested agenda - even from CNBC days. I was simply saying I would like her leave - use whatever excuse you would like, I really don't care.

While I am no fan of Erin Burnett and don't care if she stays or goes, this I do know.
Yes, she came from CNBC BUT, she was hired as a financial reporter, not an anchor and was doing financial reporting on CNBC, so, if she's not a good anchor in general, it is because she's NOT doing what she was originally hired to do. Blame Jeff Zucker or management for placing her in a position that she was not suited for...right now CNN has no business analysis during the week.
CNN's hiring practices are not done with any particular skill or accuracy, and they should be held accountable accordingly.

She is awesome in every way, you're crazy or jealous. Lucky guy to have her.

Congrats to Erin and David! I'm a huge fan of Erin...she's a fantastic news anchor - I rarely miss her show. Who will sub for her when she's on leave? I'll miss her.
