CNN is scheduled to run a Boston Finest marathon. What is the backup plan for Syria ? Will we see Anderson Cooper and Wolf Blitaer ? Hate to say it but CNN's coverage has not been the best. It's lacking. I have been flipping back between CNN and AJAM . ! thing I have noticed that AJAM is doing is putting data on the screen,data journalism so that if the volume is turned down you can still follow the news.
AJA is the place to get a decent conversation
on Syria. However, John Kerry did reveal that
sarin was used in the civilian attack on CNN.
Not a good idea to have a circus atmosphere
when it's about a chemical weapons attack and
possible military action. UP on MSNBC has too
much yelling. Do we really need pundits . This
is a very serious matter. Maybe CNN will get it's
act together in the coming days.
CNN is giving Congress a free pass. The coverage on CNN to biased with an anti Obama tone. CNN looks like it is cheerleading for a no vote . CNN should not be taking sides but doing actually reporting and putting things into proper perspective. CNN always goes with a divisive tone. Jeff Zucker believes in the Crossfire mentality, which is the latest failure for CNN.

While I don't often agree with the pundits on CNN, this time the pundits seem to have it right.
Obama is pushing his responsibilities on to the Congress that 'can do nothing.' Does he really think after all this time of not being able to pass anything, that they can actually decide for HIM, whether or not we should go to war??
According to our Constitution, since it is always quoted here whenever anyone has an objection, the President of the United States has the right to declare war. Obama doesn't need Congress for this.
Once again President Obama is showing us that he lacks leadership skills. I supported him twice, possibly because his opponent was so lacking, but I wouldn't do it again.
This will be part of the Obama legacy and yes, everyone is watching, not only Syria and Israel. Obama will be known as a great orator who often lacked the will to make necessary decisions.
At least Bush had the gumption to "own" it. Now it is time for President Obama, our first Afro-American President to "own it" as well.
If President Obama hadn't given Congress the chance to weigh in which is what they were demanding and the media was hounding him to do, they would've been all over him - they're all over him anyhow. He can NEVER win with the media/conservatives and some DUMB liberals. He doesn't need Congress but he's throwing their demands back in their faces and forcing them to live up to their claim about wanting to have a voice in this. They asked for it, they got it. LOTS of smart people think what the President did is a shrewd and saavy move.
President Obama has TONS of leadership skills, just because he doesn't bully and bluster the way past presidents have done doesn't make him weak. He's smart and always STEPS ahead of his critics. Remember, THIS is the President who got Osama/Gadafi and other high placed terrorists. President Obama will be remembered as one of our GREATEST presidents, considering the obstacles, obstruction, lies, racism and hatred directed at him during his term. In spite of this, he has made significant achievements. What Bush "owned" was WRONG and destructive. Anyone who thinks Bush was a better leader than President Obama shouldn't even be taken seriously. Our first AFRICAN-American president has outdone Bush and Clinton by MILES.

I don't think so....but he will go down in history as another Jimmy Carter. I'll give him that.
