The Social Security Administration's effort to collect old debts from children of deceased parents a decade ago is totally out of order and against the statute of limitations and should cease.
We are not responsible for debts incurred by our parents and or anyone else and if the Administration was so negligent a decade ago, than they should absorb those debts that they themselves overlooked.
Some people have no other means of income after they retire and no one should be forced to show that they are needy.
Millions of Americans made legitmate contributions to this agency for retirement from working at one job for many years, and they should not have to declare themselves or anyone else in their family, a "hardship case."
Why should the bottom half of the economic ladder be held accountable, while the top 1% of those earning a substancial six figure income trading securities illegally, go undetected or be allowed to fly under the financial radar?
The Obama Administration needs to admonish the Social Security Administration for trying to force illegal retribution from the needy and they need to do it NOW.
