Out of the Box April 15th

Wolf Blitzer:

George Washington University will honor Sen. Edward Kennedy and two others at its Sixth Annual Cancer Gala hosted by Wolf Blitzer on April 25, beginning at 6PM, at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Washington DC.

John King:

John King will be the keynote speaker at the Cleveland Jewish News “Making Headlines” tribute event on June 18, 2009. The event will be held at Landerhaven at 7:00 PM, proceeded by a meet and greet at 5:30.

King will also emcee the Atlanta Press Club

Anderson Cooper:

Anderson Cooper will be a guest on The Tonight Show, with Jay Leno, on Friday, April 24th.

Cooper is also scheduled to this year’s Robert C. Vance Distinguished Lecture speaker at Central Connecticut State University on Wednesday, April 29, at 7:30 p.m., in Welte Auditorium on the CCSU campus in New Britain.

Fareed Zakaria:

Bates College, a liberal arts school in Lewiston, Maine has announced that Fareed Zakaria will speak at its 143rd commencement ceremony Sunday, May 31st at 10 AM.

Joe Johns:

Joe Johns will be the keynote speaker at the 13th Annual African-American Men's Health Summit. The event will be held on Saturday, April 11th at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando.

Soledad O'Brien:

It was announced last week that Soledad O'Brien will speak at Florida's A & M University's graduation ceremony on Sunday, May 3rd at the New Teacher Gym. FAMU is located in Tallahassee, Florida. Bill Clinton will also be a speaker at the event.

Kiran Chetry:

Kiran Chetry emceed a USO luncheon last week and talked about her experience on American Morning.

CNN.com is very popular with the masses.
CNN really needs to find a way to make
a lot of the material on CNN.com a part
of CNN's daily programs.
