FOX swept all three prime time hours in first place in the Adults 25 - 54 demographic.
CNN had a mixed week. At 8PM, they came in fourth place after three four place finishes and one third place finish. At 9PM, they were second for the week after two second place finishes and two third place finishes. CNN's 10PM ratings are the product of weird math. They came in third place three times, and second and fourth place one time each. Where do they end up when you average the five nights? Second place.
CNN's Second 100 days Report Card program was a bust ratings wise. They came in fourth place against regular programming at 8PM and 9PM and the poor lead is probably the reason that their 10PM program landed in fourth place that night as well.
MSNBC comes in second place at 8PM after finishing in second place four nights out of five. At 9PM and 10PM, they came in second place three times and third place twice which put them in third place for the week.
HLN came in third place during the 8PM hour after one second place finish, three third place finishes, and one fourth place finish. At 9PM and 10PM, they came in fourth place after coming in fourth place four nights out of five.
1 4 night average used. CNN special programming on Thursday night at 8PM and 9PM excluded. (CNN The Second 100 Days Report Card)

CNN needs to quit with the gimmicks.
No more national report card or Twitter.
CNN is now the certainly not news channel.
Jim Walton bring in David Neuman if you
can get him.CNN needs a new vision for
new and original programs.I can't believe
Erica topped Campbell in the ratings as
sub anchor on 360.I will say it again.
Erica, Tj Holmes and Jack Gray with a show
at 8 that is not like anything on for the hour
and hire Conor Knighton for a show at 7.
It is time for Lou and Campbell to hit the
road. Perhaps Klein as well.
Your are being too generous with regards
to the 2nd 100 days.I have a feeling that CNN
will be 4th one Joy Behar show runs after Grace.
The only weak link is Prime News and Issues.
According to TVNewser, which has proven to be a reliable source of all media ratings and reviews, CNN ranked 23rd to Fox's third and sixth place, in both prime and daily totals. CNN deserves this ranking. It has turned 360 into a tabloid news program. While Greta featured Henry Kissinger, Anderson Cooper was reporting on some sniper fire along a highway no one cares about.
The only good thing CNN did this past month was report that the Obama Administration was given a C-and all media outlets a well deserving D. Why? Because they don't do investigative journalism anymore. They fail to follow up on important details.....like heath care. I learned there was no real health care legislation from THE DAILY SHOW...and you wonder why Jon Stewart is the most trusted anchor now, in America. Amazing.
Is it me or does it seem that CNN is thinking
about changing the hour with Brown. The show
is not always shown and Brown is not anchoring
some times.I think CNN is taking a huge hit in
the ratings because they are not to focused on
facts right now.I know on social media people
are highly upset with how CNN is covering health
care. People think CNN is the side of the mis-
information that is out there and not giving
coverage to those who support reform. Add
in Dobbs, which is a train wreck and you have
the downfall of CNN.
CNN needs to quit trying and be like FNC
The only show I watch is QC360 and that
is not really that good these days.
Anon 12:55 am, I think you are on to something.
Only thing is I would give the press an F.I was just
on TVN and it is pretty clear that CNN is a sinking
ship. You just can not disrespect your viewers the
way CNN has. The story selection is horrible and
they have had the so-called protesters on.CNN
does not get that people are turned off to CNN's
current programs.
Anderson Cooper did not do well in the 11 PM hour after Amanpour's special. As a matter of fact, Amanpour came in with the exact same numbers as he does, perhaps minus a hundred thousand viewers at the exact same time. Only LKL's numbers were down during her special. In summation, Christiane seems to attract the same number of viewers as does Cooper, but Cooper loses his audience altogether at a later hour, unless of course, there is "breaking news." This source reference is TVNewser.
Since I do not know what heading to place this under, I shall place it here.
Recently Nancy Grace was a guest on LKL and Anderson Cooper was filling in for Larry. She brought her kids with her. This is unprofessional,IMHO. Later she appeared on Bill O'Reilly's program on the Fox Network.
Do you think she brought her kids there too? I think not. Perhaps it is a sign that she takes O'Reilly more seriously than Cooper or just takes Fox News more seriously than CNN. At any rate, what we do know is, Bill wasn't given the "adorable opportunity" to play with her kids and that in itself says something.
