Hi everyone! I hope you are having a good week. I'm under the weather today (sorry about the late posting) but I'll try and catch you up on a few things that have been going on with some of our favorite CNNers. Thanks again to Julie for all the help with finding and sharing these items.
TJ Holmes seems to be a busy guy lately. On Oct. 17th he'll be the Master of Ceremonies at the 17th annual Black Hall of Fame Ceremony Banquet. The event is going to be held in Little Rock, Arkansas where TJ used to be a local anchor. For more information on who else will be there and who is to be honored check out the Arkansas News.
Dr. Sanjay Gupta will be speaking at the Miami Book Fair International to be held Nov. 8-15th in downtown Miami. This is highly regarded event held every year and in 2009 they will have over 300+ authors attending and speaking. The Fair also includes a street festival every year and is a fun event for families or anyone that loves to read. For information on tickets and also who else will be attending check out the Miami Book Fair site.
On August 1st, Soledad O'Brien moderated an all-star panel at the International Latino Film Festival in New York City. She interviewed Rosie Perez, Luiz Guzman, and Lauren Valdez (Dexter). The panel discussed many topics related to Latino's roles in films, film making and more. This discussion is part of "Latino in America" a two-part documentary that will be shown on CNN and CNN Espanol on October 21 and 22. Another baby of Soledad O'Brien!
That's it for this week. Have a great one!
