My initial reactions:
Monday: OMG this has the potential to be absolutely hilarious. Seriously, we could be looking at Piers replacement.
Tuesday: Classic standby. Oldie but goodie.
Wednesday: Eh, Donnie doesn't wow me but I do really like Michael J. Fox. I really hope Deutsch stays away from any Erin Burnett references.
Thursday: At least Rosie is always lively. Not sure if it will be funny or annoying.
Friday: Holy wow I didn't know Arsenio Hall was still around. What a throwback to the past.
Why is Piers out next week? Is it just personal time off or is a professional assignment? Just curious.
All very interesting/fun guests and hosts but why? Why does CNN have to do a prime time celebrity talk show. I've always said this but I realize it even more now. Why does a major news network need to have this happen, sandwiched between two serious news broadcasts? If they must keep a show like this, why not move it to late night or better yet, weekends? If I want to see a celebrity chat fest, I will watch The Tonight Show or something similar. The possibility of breaking news occurring will cancel/postpone these programs anyway.
It sounds to me like Piers chose these people.
Arsenio Hall was just on Celebrity Apprentice so they might all have some connection to his friend and mentor Donald Trump.
Donnie Deutsch is a personal friend of Morgan and Trump, that I know for sure.
And they ALL sucked up to Trump, even Rosie.
I did not know that Arsenio was on Apprentice. I do not watch that show - can't stand Donald Trump. Hmmmmm... that explains so much.
