Anderson Cooper is getting slammed all over Twitter for pandering to the right and being dismissive of the Republicans war on women, which is REAL. How can Anderson ignore the facts that are out there which clearly show that Republicans are not interested in creating or passing legislation that benefits women? Tons of bills introduced by conservatives that are harmful to women. He looked foolish on 360 trying to say that the Democrats are only playing political games and trumping up the war on women for political gain. The REPUBLICANS have put forth policies across the nation that are detrimental to women and if Anderson and his 360 staff would do some actual research, he'd KNOW that just like Rachel Maddow does. Although I recognize that Anderson getting into the talk show arena is disappointing to many, for me NOTHING irritates me more about him than when he pays lip service to "keeping them honest" but gives Republicans a complete pass and cover for their actions only to deride Democrats. The ratings on 360 have been abysmal this past week and frankly, if he continues to go this unfair route, I can't say I feel bad for him. And David Gergen has become a non-stop Obama bashing joke - I'm sorry he came back and it looks like Candy Crowley will have Boehner on her show to cry over how the Democrats have hurt his feelings. Are reporters on CNN completely unaware that there are female Republican politicians who are also appalled with their party's tactics and disdain for women and have spoken out against it? The Republican party doesn't just consist of Bay Buchanan and Mary Matalin who wouldn't disavow their party even if they were to strip away every single gain women have made over the years. If 360 can't abide speaking to Democratic politicians on the show about these issues, talk to those female conservative politicians who believe their party has crossed a line. I expect better from Anderson Cooper - he needs to stop being a lap dog for the Republicans and expose what they are REALLY doing to hurt women and frankly any citizen that isn't a rich, white male.

MSNBC has found a way to quietly destroy 360
by having Rachel Maddow debunk 360 with facts
Anderson Cooper seems to deliberately leave out
on keeping them honest. TRMS has found a way
to put things into proper perspective and no just
use right wing talking points. All week long 360
has been trying to distract viewers on foreign
policy, immigration and now the war on women.

Anderson Cooper thinks the war on women is
just made up. You could have fooled me . Name
1 piece of legislation that Congress has passed
that limits the rights of male when it comes to
reproductive rights. Last night it came off like
Anderson Cooper was defending John Boehner.
It was disgusting how Cooper treated Rep,
Maloney. It was condescending and insulting.
He came off like a sexist jerk. What in the world
has happened to Anderson Cooper ? I don't
think I want to watch 360 again. Rachel had to
point out that the term war on women actually
comes from laws passed by Republicans that
only affect Americans with a uterus. Turning
into Bill O'Reilly is not going over well with
loyal 360 viewers. I am so angry with Anderson
Cooper right now and judging from social media
I am not alone. You can respectfully disagree
with someone. KTH is showing biases against
Obama & Democrats. How do you do a KTH
segment on foreign policy and miss the gaffes
from the Romney campaign on that very same
day or completely ignore the pass statements
on immigration straight out of the mouth of
Mitt Romney. Now a KTH that says the war on
women is not real. KTH is a fraud. Thank
goodness Rachel Maddow is showing you
can't trust Anderson Cooper without using his
name. 360 used to be my favorite news show.

Ironically, Anderson Cooper can't afford to
offend women. Who does he expect to watch
his daytime show.

What was Anderson thinking ? KTH needs to go away. 3 KTH segments are dumb. Nobody owns
the truth.. When your major anchor messes up
like this, you got trouble. CNN has a bigger
women's issue now. No women's show will make
this go away. Has the brains left the building at
CNN ?

Oh, oh. 360 could have record low ratings for May
2012. Why is CNN stupidly trying to get FNC viewers.
Fox viewers are not going to watch CNN and you
only end up alienating the viewers you have. I think
CNN is about to double down on Obama bashing
and pundits. CNN considers Beck. Breitbart, The
Daily Caller, Drudge to be legit news sources and
CNN are smart enough to see something is not
passing the smell test. 360 has been terrible all
week and Friday showed why. Their audiences are
not as diverse as the general public.

360 did recently hire a producer from Fox
News. Anderson Cooper knows better.

No more CNN or Anderson Cooper in my house.
I am shutting CNN down and protesting . Turn
out the lights. CNN is over and good riddance.
They have to wonder why viewers are fleeing.
Stupid is as stupid does.

I mentioned in comments past that CNN is constructing a new studio in Washington DC that will be revealed after the Republican and Democratic conventions in September which will serve home to The Situation Room and State of the Union, as well as the NEW CNN Election Center. I had said it would be best to go ahead and revert the Atlanta studio back to normal from being labeled as the Election Center and that's what they just did as I have noticed on this weekends live broadcasting, considering Mitt Romney is the presumptive nominee. It was just too distracting to see a patriotic studio lit up with Election Center words while watching a conversation take place about Trayvon Martin. CNN does need to be re-launched and hopefully by Fall, they will clean their act up be canceling JK-USA and OUTFRONT. I love the idea of having The Situation Room on from 5pm to 8pm as a lead in for AC360, especially because this is a political year.

I recently ran into some clips from In The Arena with Eliot Spitzer. I must say that even though many wanted his show canceled at first, it was towards the end of his run at CNN that the show was being more liked. He is much better than Erin Burnett. He wasn't good with Kathleen Parker, but him solo was way better.

I'm confident that Erin Burnett OutFront will be canceled sometime in 2012.

I say YES to moving the Situation Room to 5-8p.m.!

Correction Rachel Sklar IS NOT a founder of Mediaite, she is/was the managing editor.

Yes, Eliot Spitzer should have remained and eventually his program would have found a following.
He wasn't given half a chance to succeed.
Now we have Ms Bimbo Burnett and she's given chance after chance to prove she has zero ability.
Spitzer was given a raw deal by NY officials and another raw deal by CNN.
There's no comparison between someone who was a governor of a very influencial state and an ex-anchor/business wannabe from MSNBC.
CNN deserves to be last.
