Frank Sesno should be hired as permanent host of Reliable Sources. He is fantastic. Very professional. I'm glad he is hosting again this week.

Not sure why the Sunday Washington based programs like Reliable Sources and State Of The Union share the same set as The Situation Room. The Lead is the only program that gets its own set. There are many sides of the studio which can be the solo camera angle for a certain Sunday show.

Does anyone know what happened to Rachel Nichols Unguarded? It was supposed to premiere in mid-September but never did and I haven't heard anything about it since.

I don't like the way CNN,MSNBC & FOX are covering the shutdown. There is no reporting and all 3 are a part of the problem that makes everything dysfunctional. AJAM was the 1st to report the Somalia & Libya. CNN is now playing catch up. AJAM did the best job on Kenya and unlike the others they have actually been reporting on Obamacare and the real people affected by the shutdown. CNN, MSNBC & FOX are shameful.

@8:53PM: You are absolutely right.
All three cable networks are indeed part of the shutdown problem, because except for Dana Bash, who does DO old fashioned leg work to talk to sources, everyone else is busy looking at their ipads, and iphones and teleprompters, instead of confronting the Republican Congress and making them ALL ashamed of not doing their jobs.
Until BLAME is placed where it belongs, on this inept Congress, the shutdown will continue....as it effects more and more pocketbooks and Republican constituencies start taking a real hit. That hasn't happened yet.

Cable news has not journalism. That is why the viewers for all 3 are older. Younger viewers have internet access to real news and they love it. Their attitude about cable news is right. Ignorance on display. Cable news sets out to misinform. Fortunately, most Americans tune out. I know there were those hopping that AJAM would make CNN better but CNN abandoned news long time ago. AJE will always draw smaller higher income, highly educated & younger viewers. The problem is they stick around for shorter time periods. You can learn more form AJE in 1 hour than watch CNN for an entire year.

CNN is giving a free pass to the tea party. How
come CNN won't ask poll questions on the tea
party. It's inaccurate to try to compare AJAM to
the others. The network is in fewer homes than
the station it replaced ( Current ). AJAM is just
getting started and has only been around for
a month. Direc TV just moved the channel from
it's original spot, which was between MSNBC and
FOX, now they are right before C-SPAN. Who made
that happen. Current was around for some 8 years
and never was switched. AJAM has deep pockets.
Also, CNN needs to do some real reporting like
families being denied death benefits thanks to
the tea party. That's right CNN is the tea party
so we will not see reporting of the vets who
recently died in Afghanistan.

CNN just does not like the fact that Obama has won the presidential election 2X. CNN has always acted like the man is not a legit president. CNN you can't overturn a presidential election. CNN is trying to overthrow the government with misinformation. Face ti CNN Mitt Romney lost and John Boehner is not president and the house is outnumbered 2 to 1. That's what happens when Newt Gingrich is hired by CNN. So much of the crap he said during the 2012 election is now the talking points for CNN. Millions of voters spoke.

@1:47PM: Yes, you are right about both CNN and the Repugnant Republicans.
But unfortunately, the Republicans are the majority in the House, which is consistent in getting "nothing done." Nothing, nothing passed, and they don't care because stupidly they feel this makes Obama look weak.
Obama called their bluff and now we, the electorate, have to pay the price.
If another Republican says, "Americans feel...." I will vomit. How dare they speak for an electorate they care so little about! How dare they!
This November, throw them out...all of them!
CLEAN HOUSE NOW!
