Love, love, love John Berman and he should be more than an anchor buried in predawn program. But the most interesting thing in this video is Kate Bolduan. She has about as much personality as a stump.
I agree - I love Berman too. His talents are wasted that early in the morning. He is so darn likeable - dump that preening narcissist Cuomo and give Berman a shot. I think Berman, Michaela, and Christine Romans make a great trio.
That was so emotional watching this morning! I have watched Early Start since it premiered. She has been with CNN's Early Start since it premiered on the 2012 new year, 2 years ago. At first, I thought she was a bit of a quiet anchor but then months into her time at CNN, she was more enjoyable with heart. I feel that her and John Berman are a perfect team. Better than Chris & Kate, and better than Susan & Michael. I wish her all the best. I agree I do feel John Berman deserves better hours. I have enjoyed him lately subbing on AC360º.
@9:21am: I think the thing about Kate Bolduan is that she might be feeling she is next. It is no secret that Chris Cuomo wants a different co-anchor. I think she should have stayed in Washington alongside Wolf Blitzer. She seemed much happier and Wolf and her got along much better. Chris Cuomo would have been better off as a solo host in another program. If you ask me, John Berman and Michaela Periera make great hosts.
Wow positive responses for a change. Yeah I will miss her and was surprised she was leaving. I think when she was paired with Ashleigh Banfield you can tell Zoraida felt uncomfortable. But when Berman came in you could see the difference and she was now lighting up and more outgoing. You really saw their chemistry together.
And yeah love Berman. I thought he was going to come on with this very straight and lifeless news reporting. Boy was I wrong lol. That guy is funny and just a great anchor. I can see why they essentially had him on for 4 hours when soledad O brien had her show and he help coanchor.
Im glad he will be on and I like Christine Romans. They always make the sub anchor lol. Maybe they will keep her permanent.
