I am so glad I am old enough to see history actually repeating itself.
Just today the Christie camp denied that they held certain cities as well as their mayors hostage in receiving funds from
the destruction of the super storm Sandy.
And Christie is outraged at MSNBC
for being bipartisan and "actually reporting it." Excuse me, they're being bipartisan?
Wasn't it just yesterday that the good Governor of NJ had to "Lawyer up," in order to defend himself from the first scandal his aides are involved in?
Wasn't the jamming of traffic on the GWB in September, bipartisan Govenator?
Let's see. Who else blamed the media for his bad luck during his second term......ah yes, I remember it well. Wasn't it Nixon who called the "bugging of the Democratic headquarters, "a third rate burglary and "he was not a crook." duh.
When will these guys learn that "the media," can make you or break you, and if you have nothing to hide.....you don't blame them.
Govenor Christie, you may have leadership skills, but their in your huge fat a--.
Very good news for those who don't support or believe Chris Christie.
He was not welcomed in Florida and quietly slipped away after a fund raiser in Orlando...not at all like the Christie of former pre-scandal times.
The NYTimes is reporting that the Mayor of Hoboken spoke of retaliation, and lack of sufficient funding for the city after it was submerged by super storm Sandy. Dawn Zimmer said that there was retaliation from the Christie camp soon after she refused to support a redevelopment project that Christie favored and lack of funding, leaving the city and its people without enough money for their own redevelopment, after the storm.
Yes, let's hear it for the mayors of all the cities that got the shaft from Chris.....this is not going away anytime soon.
I don't know about you, but it sure sounds like some bullying going on, to me.
The presidential State of the Union Address is coming up next week. CNN's Sunday political program is called State of the Union. This needs to change. It gets confusing for people who don't watch a lot of news. I like Candy Crowley, but like Suzanne Malveaux, she needs to return as a political correspondent. She is a bit cold at anchoring.
It was reported last month that CNN is testing out a new weekly political program called The Source with John King. Hopefully this replaces CNN's State of the Union. I always felt that CNN made the mistake of moving John King to weekdays. He was doing well Sundays. As you may know, John King USA was cancelled.
I also like the idea from BuzzFeed of having Jake Tapper to host CNN's Sunday political morning show, as long as he continues hosting The Lead weekdays. He would be like George Stephanopoulos who on ABC hosts Good Morning America and This Week.
Seriously CNN?
Bieber's Troubles -- A CNN Special Report, Friday 10PM.
Barbara Boxer was on C-Span explaining climate control and she's right.
One day does not define a pattern.
It is EXTREME WEATHER that defines climate change whether it be extreme heat or cold...as we have now in many portions of the country.
But there was no excuse in Atlanta for children to be stuck on a school bus for almost 24 hours.
Atlanta didn't have mounds of snow. It had ice from extreme temperatures and they SHOULD be ready and able to deal with this during the WINTER!!
Good governing brings good results.
Bad governing brings results like the back up on Atlanta highways!
These are your tax dollars NOT at work.
